Ok, what do you all attribute the hitting to?  I'm wondering if it's Eckstein.  THoughts?

Perhaps, but also everyone's healthy all at once for the first time since...March?  And no Kearns.

Yeah, I thought about that too.  But was wondering what/how much of this was due to coaching additions.

QFT. i am completely content if our current lineup is our 2009 opening day lineup. this 6 game winning streak is no fluke. the youth of this team is going to be a PROBLEM in 2009, and by problem i mean a problem for opposing teams. i'm confident this EXACT team can be a contender next yr.

Everyone except Wily Mo and Nick Johnson. But yes, it is very nice to have Zimmerman, Flores, Milledge, Guzman and Dukes in the lineup all at the same time.

Part of it might be due to the fact that HG Harris is obviously on something. I hope for a better bench next year, a real first baseman, and someone with some power in left field. I like the different look guys like Hernandez and Bonifacio give the line-up, but we need someone other than Langerhans or Harris in left. Burrel and Dunn should both be targets this off-season.

The Nats have faced terrible pitching for the past 5 games.
