One of my favorite pics for several reasons. 1.) I like capturing Balester explaining how to throw certain pitches. 2.) I love catching the arm of Minty Fresh as he arrives late to the event. 3.) I love Bob giving Minty the evil eye as he enters.

It was a huge sporting weekend for Minty.  Can't wait to hear the final report.

I have worn that hat almost everyday since June of 2005 when I bought it at my first Nats game at RFK.

Well, as all actors, I enjoy making a grand scene when I enter!

GREAT WEEKEND.  Saw a sweep of the Braves to run my Nats home record to 4-0 this year!  As I stated in the G.D. thread I think Stan needs to give me seasons tickets next year.

Never did make it to the UMD game.  I was forced to choose between games and I had to take the Nats game.  What can I say?  I'm a baseball fan and I won't apologize for it.

What I did take out of this weekend is that I am now on the Elijah Dukes bandwagon.  I want so badly for him to succeed and stay here for a long time.  In fact, I'd love to see Tex sign here, move Zimm to the five hole and have a Guzman, Harris, Tex, Dukes, Zimm, Milledge lineup 1-through-6 next year. 

I can't wait for the schedule so I can start planning next year's trip.  And Junior Mint will DEFINITELY be joining me!

Sounds like a good time was had by all. I wish I would have been able to make it, but I chose to go to the game tomorrow. Hopefully something like this can happen next season. How many people showed up?

Why?  It's a waste.  Hit either guy (whoever is playing) ninth and hit the pitcher 8th behind Flores.  Let the light-hitting, slappy singles hitters with speed bat 9th in front of Guzman who hits well?  Makes sense to me.
