Injured.

Completely off the top of my head

Zimmermann
Marrero
Burgess
Detwiler
Martis
Smiley
Willems
McGeary
Espinosa
Hood

The order is still fluid. And I could see some other guys as considerations

I could see that being the order. Burgess could be the #2, but maybe not.

Looks like a good list to me.  It would seem we have enough prospects where a top 20 list becomes feasible, as well.  I don't know if the same could have been said at the beginning of this minor league season, and if it was, there would have been a lot of reaches in it.

To me #5-15 are very fluid. Depending upon your preferences there are rational explanations for suggesting any of them

Absolutely, like you have suggested a lot of it would boil down to exactly what you think a "prospect" is.  I think this is a telling sign, though.  Every system can have stand-out prospects like Burgess and Marrero, but it is a good system that has the supplemental guys that 'could' become solid players one day.  The minor leagues aren't always about how many "stars" can it produce, but what kind of depth can it provide (and depending on the FO, what kind of value your minor leaguers can provide you in a trade).

The only reason Hickley is up over Clippard is his age makin' this his last chance.

I'm excited for Speigner and his 26 consecutive scoreless innings.

Jim-Bo said that kids will be called up to see what they can do out of the pen.  Martis got hit hard as a starter in the Olympics by the US, so I wonder if there are plans to make him a reliever, 8th & 9th inning work.  Anybody who can hit 100MPH has awesome makeup for a reliever.  Ask Hanrahan.

I'd love to see a bullpen next season of Hanrahan, Rivera, Mock, Manning, Martis, & Bergmann.

The only reason I want Bergmann on the team is so I can watch Spidey & NOTLD hemorrhage from their ears.

Martis is going to be a starter I'd guess. He tops out in the low 90s with his fastball. He has been great as a starter this year in AA and AAA.

If you want Bergmann back you obviously don't want the Nats to succeed.

How many times must we see this pathetic scene where 2 WNFF members have to go in to save their hero as Chief with cast still in hand watches idly?

You sonofa...

I loved Hink's energy and attitude at ST this year. Hopefully he brings the same up in the Bigs.

Did the Coast Guard manage to drag the whale off the beach? or did it die?

It looks like it/she's right there helping Bergmann to safety.

Cool. About who I expected. Hinckley and Martis making their Big League Debuts.

Hinckley has been up, sometime in 2005 i believe.

freak that.  It's way too soon to give up on Martis as a reliever.  He's barely 21.  He has good enough stuff to be a starter.
