Can't stand Perez and Redding. Hopefully this is the last time we see them. They are just brutal.

Not even freaking close. This is a blessing in disguise I believe. No way they'll be able to justify keeping that bum here after this crap.

JMU, what is up with Speigner starting tonight for the Clippers? He's doing well so far (3 IP 2 H 0 R 0 ER 0 BB 2 K).

Interesting.  I have no idea, do they think that he might able to start again?  Or possibly a spot start?

WOW I was watching th game on MASN and the 1st inning just ended like a minute ago. I switched to 20 and the bottom of the first was just starting. I didn't have to see commercials for that inning.

Not sure. I don't really understand it though. I thought they'd call him up here as a reliever in September. We need relievers and he's been doing very well in that role.

Somebody needs to tell the woman in the front row that Valerie Bertinelli and Loni Anderson want their hair back.

Guzman.

I have no concerns about Guzman's performance over the next 2 years, it's only his health that worries me.

Yeah, it doesn't make much sense unless they weren't planning on calling him up in September.  That wouldn't make much sense either.

Yes, give him a 1-2 year deal. He can play lots of positions and he is solid with the bat. He can also fill in if/when Dukes, Milledge and Kearns or whoever is starting gets injured.

Guzman is playing like a man that is possessed.  That 2 year deal is looking better by the day...

They may want to see if he can stretch out innings wise to make a start once he's called up. We may finally be trading Perez of Redding.

Hmm. Speigner only threw 3 innings. He has now been taken out of the game in place of Warden.
