I agree that we are cursed, but do we have any idea how or why we are cursed? The Sox had the Babe Ruth curse, while the Cubs had the goat curse or something. What the hell did we do wrong?
After careful research I have discovered we suffer from multiple curses. There is the Bobblehead curse of 2008, the curse of Brian Schnieder, the curse of Sentors2005, the Curse of Teddy, the curse of Sportsfan, and the curse of Nats2Playoffs (also known as the curse of the reverse Damn Yankees). That doesn't even take into account the curse of the Angry Blogger. I suspect to turn it around we'll need to invite Brian Schnieder and Frank Robinson to burn the bobbleheads, Lenny Harris, and the angry blogger in the new park on the anniversary of the Pope's visit to the new ballpark or we're DOOMED, DOOMED I SAY. Stupid Curse. EDIT: Dear gods, there are more. The Curse of the 2k6nats-made Gameday Threads
He forgot the curse of all curses, the Sports Illustrated cover curse.Three out of six
Certainly not the "baseball experts" on various websites who all but wrote this trade off as a steal for the Dbacks.
It makes me question the D-Backs Fo, Carlos Quention was also a spare part before the season
I think a lot of people overvalued Rauch, but who would have thought that Bonafacio would be this good this soon?
I wonder how long this will last, on the other hand. Diamonds aren't forever.
What is that, 4 players that are "day-to-day" now?
They still could end up being right (**** happens to the Nats), but I think we all feel good about what we got at this point.
Gonzalez has a "left glute contusion" and is day-to-day. In the words of Sutton, "he pulled a butt muscle." I say 15 day DL.
Speed/defense don't go into slumps. As long as he keeps making contact I think he'll be OK.
He's surprised everyone. He was expendable for them anyways. They were stacked w/ youngsters.
His batting average has gone from .230 to .345. How long will that last?
