STFU Sutton. If your boy Redding knew how to lay a bunt down he'd be sitting in the dugout and we'd have another run on the board.

Nice hit EB.

In fairness to Redding, he is the best bunter on the team, but I suppose that isn't saying much.

Yeah, usually he is OK but that time he blew it.

One can always dream.

That's a requisite for being a Nats fan.

what an idiot. Redding is garbage. If we lose he takes all the blame.

Well, I would rather have us screw up on the basepaths, at least it means we are getting baserunners.

We're winning but I still feel like the game's already lost. Maybe 'cause Redding's coming back out.

Yeah our guys aren't used to being on base, they don't know what to do haha.

but we should have at least 2-3+ more runs. It will cost us like it almost always does. I don't see 5 runs winning this game. Will probably need close to 10.

Only when we have a deck of cards in the clubhouse.

Yes. Bonifacio at the moment reminds me of Curtis Granderson: not the hitter you'd want at the heart of your order, but a "spark plug" who gets things going with energy, speed, and a nicely timed base hit. I hope he continues to mature in this direction.

But they're actually hitting too. Bonifacio and AlGo have both swung the bat very well thus far.

Not if the goal is to win more games than you lose. You kinda need batting for that.

Granderson can hit for power, though.
