milledge almost went deep.

Milledge has at least been making some halfway decent contact as of late.

Why would Clippard be pulled early as a counter move for a pitcher being dealt if JZ was coming up?  :?

ummm b/c they would send down jb for tyler clippard and deal perez and call up jordan zimmermann.  that simple.

He might mean JZ's getting the call to Columbus; I don't know though.

Darrell's done.  Gary Zimmerman next then Art Monk to close.

**** Kearns. Strikes out on the same pitch again. **** Lenny Harris too.

I used to question why Felipe Lopez and Paul Lo Duca were on the team for so long.  I still question why the likes of Austin Kearns, Pete Orr, Jason Bergmann and Ryan Langerhans are here?  They are AAAA players.

I didn't get the Bergmann demotion part. That's not happening anyway.

This makes more sense though.

Monk will probably talk for 3 minutes.

If Bergmann can pitch 7 more scoreless innings he'll have the equivalent of a quality start.  :?

Kearns is JimBo's guy. He stays as long as Bowden is here. Bergmann has flashes of brilliance and flashes of futility with just average pitching in between, they're hoping he can "figure it out". Orr and Langerhans are AAAA, Orr especially is only here because of the injuries to Zimm and Guz.

Where the freak was Casto going?

Why didn't Bergmann just hold on to the ball?

Casto is inexperienced. Bergmann is just a moron.

We suck ass. I can't believe Sutton was just applauding Bergmann a few minutes ago for giving up 6 runs in 6 innings.

why wouldn't jb get sent down?  i've been a supporter of his for years and while i know his 8 (now 9) losses.

why not go with clippard and zimmermann?  youth movement = "the plan".

I think Bergmann and the offense are equally to blame for this loss.  Our offense rolls over every freaking night during the middle innings.  They just lose focus.
