Good job, Tim! 66 pitches through 6. He should go the distance.  :?

Redding is on point today (knock on wood). I don't think he's even throw 70 pitches yet.

hes at 66 through 6 innings... dare i say, a complete game shutout?

I'd say it's more a case of inept hitting. Just look at the two starting lineups, you'd think this were a Triple-A game.

They've been pretty good the last couple of games, though. I like when games are 0-0 late sometimes.

That would require us to score a run-

His longest outing of the season was his first start of the year in Philly (7 IP 0 ER). Coincidentally, that is the only time all year he has gone 7 innings.

The base coaches are probably thinking they should've taken the day off.

Kearns continues regressing to the mean. Estrada continues to regress to a singularity (one big molecule of SUCK).

Estrada has had a predictable garbage game today. Manny threw this game away by starting him and Felipe.

Sickening. 2 baserunners in 7 innings against an average pitcher.

Matt Cain's one of the best young pitchers in baseball.

Not quite. He had a 4+ ERA coming into this game. He walks way too many hitters but of course we have not been patient all game. Cain isn't horrible but he should not be shutting us out after 7 innings either.

You'd think a great strategy in day-to-day leagues would be to start the pitcher that's pitching against the Nats...

Manny is a f#cking idiot.  Fat Johnny is as worthless as they come, and that SB will cost us the game.

His career ERA is 3.81, he's pitched four quality, injury-free years for the Giants, and he's only 23.  He's one of a kind.

How can we not beat the Giants? How about just once?
