Nationals vs Diamondsbacks, Game 3
« on: July 10, 2008, 06:48:00 pm »
Game Time: 7:10 PM

(2B) Felipe Lopez
(3B) Kory Casto
(SS) Cristian Guzman
(RF) Austin Kearns
(1B) Dmitri Young
(SC) Jesus Flores
(LF) Wily Mo Peña
(CF) Roger Bernadina
(SP) Jason Bergmann

(CF) Chris Young
(SS) Stephen Drew
(2B) Orlando Hudson
(LF) Conor Jackson
(1B) Chad Tracy
(3B) Mark Reynolds
(SC) Miguel Montero
(RF) Alex Romero
(SP) Dan Haren

With the series knotted up at one game a piece, will the Nats' bats build on last night's momentum to secure the series win or will they go back to their old ways and get pwned by Haren? Will Bergmann keep the team in the game against a weak offense or will he revert back to beachball status?

Did anybody else notice that as soon as NOTLD goes to Detroit they tear down a ballpark?

Bergey is dealing.  I believe he could become our top pitcher if his consistency stays.

I'm fairly confident that Bergmann will give up 3 runs or less tonight but I'm even more confident that our crappy offense won't score more than 1 off of Haren.

We need to milk the count on Haren.  Run his pitch count up, and do damage on their pen.

This has been said about a million times before. I just hope he can stay healthy. I'd be satisfied if he winds up being our #4 starter.

if I am Dan Haren, there is absolutely no way Flores gets anything hittable, with Pena on deck.

if i walk him, so freaking what? wtf is Pena gonna do? give me a mean look?

9 pitch AB for Flores and then that putz Reynolds throws it into the crowd.

I tell ya, people take Zim's defense for granted. Reynolds, Wright and others aren't half the defensive player Ryan is. The only one who is even close is Longoria.

Pena must be giving Manny reach arounds for him to still be getting at bats.

Pena and Bernadina batting back-to-back in the lineup.  :panic:
