so, anyone else think that Manny took Wily Mo aside, and said "Look, enough bullcrapting. Hit. Or else."?
Just read the Wily Mo thread.  Not much we can do about him.  We are contracted to pay him $2 million now and 2009.  He really hit well last fall.  I wanna see those homers.  Nook was a singles hitter.

STEVE SHELL C-A-N-N-O-T SING!!!!!!!
But Guzman now has the most hits in MLB.  Singles.

Down 0-2 in the count for the 4th straight AB.

Flores strikes out.  What's happened to him?

killer. Bad, bad game for Flores. Getting behind in the count is finally catching up to him. That first pitch that Spier threw him should have been smoked into the OF. Hanging breaking ball right down the middle. That's Flores' favorite pitch.

Maybe the pressure of batting 4.

He has been getting behind in the count for the last two weeks too much.  I think he will be fine though, he is still real young.

That was his pitch, he should have taken a killer swing at that one.

Maybe the pressure of batting 4.

Regardless of whether or not he is feeling more pressure, it was a dumb move to put him in the 4 hole. Just stupid.

Satan took him into the desert, showed him the Angels stadium, and said "All this can be yours."
