How is this different from what Manning could have done?
Manny is an idiot. Sanches is one of the worst relievers I have ever seen. He is no better than Chris Booker and Winston Abreu.

Well think of this... we have Jesus Colome to look forward to next inning. ):

It's probably why Zinicola got promoted to AAA.

Yeah I am starting to feel that way as well.  I think Zinicola can eventually be a good MLB reliever, maybe even great, but I think it is risky to rush him so quickly.  They were doing a good job of slowly bringing him up until now.

I hope he gives up a homer here. Whatever gets his ass out of here is fine with me.

What really sticks out to me is that he's only given up 3 homers in 122+ innings in the minors.

I'm still hung up on this Wily Mo thing. That bases loaded 1-out situation would have been the perfect spot to pinch-hit for him. Keeping him in is like allowing the pitcher to bat in that spot. That could very well have been our best opportunity to score the rest of the night, yet we allow Wily Mo to stay in and pop it up.

With Nieves on the bench, we could have had Flores pinch hit.  The inability to make a decision that everyone watching this game would make is a reason to send Manny Acta down to AAA for re-education, or fire his brainless ass.  Make Lo Duca the manager - he would have cussed out the umpire in this game.

The crowd is now booing the Nationals at will.

That double just sealed the deal on his trip to Columbus.

Seriously, if Dirty is on this team tomorrow, Manny needs to be fired.

He's not a rookie reliever, Bob, you freaking dimwit. He's a 29 year-old career minor leaguer.

Again, Manning could have given up the million runs that Sanches just gave up!

Does the fact that nobody ever gets fired from this team mean that everything is going like it's supposed to?

This resembles the initial appearances that Sanches and Manning had at the start of their carreers as Nats. They turned it around but this is freakin' pathetic. Orr is being recalled and why the f88k isn't Schroder.

yawn. who cares when he can't throw strikes and is so hittable? I'm so sick of relievers on this team that can throw in the high 90s that can't throw strikes. I'd rather have a pitcher that can throw 90 but can get people out.

Schroder would be an upgrade over Sanches but he is not the answer.

ONLY the Nationals. 4-3 deficit coming into the inning and then they give up 7 runs.

Yes, not pinch hitting for Wily Mo is baffling there, but I think there's something deeper going on here. I really get the feeling that this team is being managed by committee, with the front office still madly in love with Wily Mo for some inexplicable reason. Just last week Manny said that things flat-out aren't working out with Wily Mo. I really believe that Manny would have canned Wily Mo a long time ago if it were up to him. But I think Manny is being "strongly encouraged" to play this clown.

I'd really like to see what's happening behind the scenes. For example, I don't think Manny has any desire to play LoDuca, but the people cutting the checks to LoDuca probably have other ideas.

Bob and Don are so freaking clueless. These "arms" that Texas is throwing at us is like an entire bullpen of Hanrahans and Colomes. They suck ass, just not against a minor league offense like ours'.

Bob and Don are so ****ing clueless.

I'll tell you how they're clueless. They coddle Wily Mo and make every excuse for him they can think of when he effs up, but then later they reflect on how "we" blew a chance to take the lead last inning. No, guys. WE didn't blow the opportunity. Wily Mo did. You know, the guy you keep making excuses for.
