Maybe Matt Chico just can't start. I'm willing to give him more chances to relieve but starting seems to be out of his skill set.

Yeah, I'd keep him as a long reliever.

the saddest thing about this...is that Chico has only given up 2 runs.

but with our offense, giving up 2 Runs is the equivalent of getting shelled.

If I were Manny, I'd take out Zimm and Guz. put Flopez at short, Willie Harris at 2nd and Mackowiak at 3rd. Take out Dmitri and put Boone at first. Let Chico pitch 9 innings and give the pen 2 days rest. This game is lost already

So true. We struggle so hard to just get two runs most games.

He was doing fine as a long reliever. That's his niche I believe. I agree that he should not be starting any more up here though.
