MySpace indictment

Interesting development in the MySpace suicide case, where a novel interpretation of hacking charges was used to indict the woman who was allegedly behind the creation of an account used to harass a thirteen-year-old girl:

It does open a can of worms but what this woman did was unconcionable (sorry, can't spell)!  This woman pretended to be a teenage boy.  The "boy" led a young teenage girl (who sufferred from depression) to believe he was in love with her and then suddenly called her names and dropped her like a hot potato.  The teenage girl broken up by the loss of this so called friend committed suicide.

All this was brought on because there was some alledged name calling by the teenage girl to this woman's  (who pretended to be the boy) daughter.

I remember the story!  This woman should be punished.  I can't remember the details but she got away with this kind of behavior.

I would agree that the mother's actions were reprehensible and that she needs to be held accountable.

It just blows my mind that an adult would conspire to do this, and co-opt a 19 year-old employee to help. Two adult women ganging up on a 13 year old girl? Sick.

That adult should get at least 2-3 decades (pretty much life)
