I agree with Barry that Manny letting O'Connor hit for himself with a chance to cut it to 2 signaled the end of the game.

There was a bit of a key moment, perhaps, in teh game. After Wily Mo Pena's sacrifice fly made it 7-2 and Wil Nieves doubled home two more runs to make it 7-4. With two outs and Nieves on second, Manny Acta sent Mike O'Connor up to hit for himself. A single would have made it 7-5. O'Connor struck out looking. He then gave up Jose Bautista's second homer of the night in the next inning.

I'm honestly glad because it means that if we win for the rest of the week, I'll have gotten our record right in the YNOT competition. Also, we are 7-3 in our last ten.

I really think Matt Chico is set for an excellent day tomorrow.

i'm getting worried about milledge physically. he seemed to aggravate his shoulder making that catch and crushing into the wall... i think we've been fortunate that he hasn't suffered any serious injury yet with all the times he's been hit by a pitch or hurt himself slightly.

and btw, columbus does a really crappy job of covering the games. i was hoping to read about dukes stellar evening but there's nothing.
