He dives at balls when he should be trying to cut them off and make them singles, like that one.  Instead of holding Kotsay to a single, he gets a double and Milledge almost takes himself out with a shoulder injury.

Hadn't thought of that. I like that he hustled though and we got a break with that boneheaded play.  We pretty much missed that inning because of the bullcrap they insist on pushing with Taylor.

How many times are we the ones losing it because one of our players got caught doing that? I wonder how the braves fans are reacting to that one

We need to jump on this guy.  He is leaving balls in the wheel house.

I do like that he hustles and plays balls to the wall, but I just think he tries to be a little too cute with the glove sometimes.  That's why I have a lot of respect for Kearns's glovework - you hardly ever see him try to do too much and botch a high-risk play on a line drive or carom.

We have the obese squirrel, Macko-what'sabat, and the pitcher coming up this inning.  It'll have to wait.

How many male reporters do you criticize for their looks?
What the hell?  I'm saying that the woman doesn't look all that great.  And she can't interview worth a damn sight.  What the hell is wrong?

I'm loving Shawn Hill's outing today. I had him getting shelled today and as the only pitcher not to get a quality start in the YNOT competition, but with just 32 pitches in three innings he is looking fabulous, and with a little luck he'll be able to keep up the pace.

Well if she can't interview worth crap that's totally legit criticism. I don't have whatever TV network she's on, so all I'm really seeing is a bunch of people complaining for various reasons, sorry ...

Mackowiak 1/18  :D

Jurrjens is throwing nothing but meatballs and we can't even come close to making solid contact.

Estrada is worthless.
Try offering him back to Minaya - maybe he'll give us Mike Pelfrey.  Anything's possible with him.

I don't like Shawn Hill at bat.  He should just take the out and save the arm.

Mackowiak reminds me of Ade Jimoh that insisted he couldn't cover receivers to his full potential if he wasn't starting   He thought by saying that he would be immediately inserted into the starting defense.

This was about 2 years ago when he was coming in as the nickel back and was getting scorched.
