The Clippers play-by-play guy said that Bonifacio is looking amazing at that the Nats people are getting really very impressed with him.
I was just watching that, as well. He also mentioned that they wouldn't call him up until he was able to be the everyday second baseman. I think after Thursday the problem with Lopez will be settled (traded or cut I hope) and it will open the way for Bonifacio.
Another infield prospect, Ian Desmond, has been doing pretty well since returning from injury. Desmond is 10 for 28 with 3 doubles, 2 home runs, and 8 RBIs since his return. He has also stolen two bases and struck out five times since returning.
