Last night in Dallas I had two Rahr and Sons Whiskey Warmers on draft - it's their standard Winter Warmer, which is a very tasty English-style dark ale, but simultaneously creamier and a LOT stronger. It's fantastic and if they have it on offer at the brewery, try some.

Good news on the St Pauli Girl front...back in stock (6-pack, 12oz bottles) at Harris Teeter in Pentagon Row.

Not only good for drinking (of course), but a finer beer for making home-made chili simply does not exist.

The Black Squirrel has oSKAr the G’rauch on tap today, surely the first time this beer has ever been served outside of Colorado. They opened at noon, hopefully it will last until I can get over there (which very well may be in the next 5 minutes).
