I have the black and white version of that on my wall. We've become so pathetic that I resort to watching taped games from the 80's every January  :icon_frown:  I'll be watching the 1982 Championship game this Saturday.   :?

What was Riggo's quote?  Something like, "Reagan might be president, but today I'm King!"

Funny you should say that. I just finished watching Super Bowls XXII and XXVI on NFL Channel. Oh those were the days (big sigh).

What was Riggo's quote?  Something like, "Reagan might be president, but today I'm King!"

Riggins had several colorful quotes.  To Sandra Day O'Connor he said- "Lighten up, Sandy baby", uttered moments before his head crashed down onto his plate in a drunken stupor.

After sitting out a full season in a contract dispute, he returned to the team saying "I'm bored, I'm broke, and I'm back."

I remember that Riggo run vividly. I was screaming and jumping up and down in front of the TV, which excited my terrier dog so greatly that he jumped up and bit my butt (literally).  If I hadn't been wearing blue jeans, my posterior would have been toast.

I do too.  That was an incredibly awesome game!  I get excited just remembering it!
