Being the youngest member of my firm, I love to screw with my coworkers and use the "Mosquito" ringtone (a high-pitched sound only those below a certain age can hear).

My old phone I used to have:

Da Rockwilder by Redman (and Method Man)
If I Can't by 50 Cent

My girlfriend used to have the Party Boy theme from Jackass in ringtone sound (not actual song) and it was pretty good

Huh, I didn't know that they could be customized for different callers. Will have to read the manual for mine. I have the Overture from the Barber of Seville for everybody (it was the only one that I liked of the ones that came loaded onto my phone). I'd like to find an old dial-phone-type ringer sound for my husband's phone (he likes old phones).

Depends on your carrier and phone, I believe.

I won't buy a phone that doesn't allow mp3 ringtones. Yes, it's a violation of fair use and I owe for a public performance, but the artists I use would love the exposure.

I only use incredibly loud death metal because otherwise I never hear the ring

iTunes sells ringtones.

itunes only sells them for iphones i think

ive just got the best generic ringtone my phone has, i think getting one is kinda pointless. they cost like three dollars for a fifteen second clip of a song.

Yeah.  I have an iPhone though, so its easy to get them for free.  Any song you want, not just what the services offer.

Drag song from iTunes into GarageBand, crop out the part you want, export as iPhone ring tone.

I am in need of a new ringtone. My current one is:

GZA - B.I.B.L.E. (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth)

I have a few in mind:

Presidents of the United States - Peaches
Super Mario 64 - Bob-omb level. (don't ask) ---- I'm trying to get a video game song that people would recognize when it rings
Steve Miller Band - The Joker

Suggestions would be nice!
