Definately Dunn cause he's the power bat we lack. With one swing...he could make a difference in A CLOSE GAME and we both know the Nationals have won alot of games by 1run.Kearns is ready to explose like Kenza has said and I'm sure we could get him for cheap.

Hehe. 8)

You also said in the mlb forum that Dunn will prolly' hit with more consistency if he gets out of Cincy...that's damn right, imo. The reds have been struggling for so a long time, it's not even funny.I think, they're looking for a pitcher so we could give em' something like Armas/Day and Davis/Byrd for him.

Why isn't Pena included in the poll, or Griffey?

Dunn is an intimidating presence to have in your lineup.  We've seen the effect that Vidro has had on opposing teams' pitching strategies since his return.  With a healthy Johnson and the addition of Dunn, there will be fewer opportunities for managers to pitch around the heart of our batting order.  Kearns remains a project.  There's no time for that now with the division title staring before us.  From here on in, we should only acquire players who will make a significant impact to our pennant hopes.

Cincy will not trade Pena.  Griffey's contract status and his years of service make him difficult to deal.

As it has been well documented, Bowden's relationship with his former employers has deteriorated to the point where it's unlikely the two sides would entertain the thought of completing a trade together.
