You know, that's fitting when you consider that just with the change of a few letters you get the worst MLB reporter with similar issues  -  Bill Ladson.

Uh, Kim . . . That's our joke name for Bill Ladson  :icon_mrgreen:

THIS STADIUM IS ROCKING!
Tulowitzki doubled to left center.  Holliday singled to center, Tulowitzki scored.
TIE GAME!

The irony is that the Padres repeatedly were candidates to move to Washington because of weak attendance.  The Rockies franchise should have been awarded to DC, based on metro population.  But Colorado drew tremendous attendance when they got the team, especially considering a much smaller population.

If only we'd gotten the Giants. Then we could have had Barry Bonds and Bacsik would have given up the HR for Montreal

FYI, the Divison Series games will all be on TBS, at 3, 6, and 10 - so everyone can watch all the games. Guessing the D-Backs and Angels will have a lot of the 10pm starts.

Torrealba grounded out to third.... He dove head first into 1st base, as if that would somehow would get him there FASTER than... running. as fast as he could.

You'd think that would be bad luck.  Seth Smith TRIPLES off the wall.

Kaz Matsui was that guy that put Jamey Carroll out of a starting job.  KM has 32 steals.

HORRIBLE throw after a flyout to shallow CF.
Matsui hit sacrifice fly to center, Smith scored.

Padres 5
Rockies 6

Clark is a HORRIBLE outfielder!  ANOTHER TRIPLE!
Tulowitzki tripled to center.

damn the Rockies are awesome.. They better win because the Padres are a bore. The playoffs should be exciting this year with the Rockies (hopefully), Phillies, D-Backs and Cubs in it.

For a team relying on good pitching like the Padres, they MUST have good fielding, to win low-scoring games.  The Rockies smell victory, and could win the pennant with these bats.

Holliday strikes out, but his 1 hit assures him of the NL batting title.

That's also because the MO in the 1990s was to bring in the areas with people who would be able to draw from a three-or-four hour radius. When we lived in Colorado, there were ticket holders from Kansas, Wyoming and even New Mexico for games, which is the equivalent of people from Pennsylvania and North Carolina having Nats ticket plans. However, since that's more a way of life out there, it's not as big a deal.

Springfield, Va. product Ryan Speier gets in the game and could be in line for the win...

I would take most of the position players on the Rockies over our guys, and some of the Padres. Tulowitzki, Helton, Hawpe, Holliday, Gonzalez, Greene...

What team are most of you rooting for? Considering I go to school 50 miles from Denver, and have been to Coors field over 100 times you probably know who I'm rooting for :-D

If the Rockies win, I get to go to a playoff game!
