I've never seen them play in this heavy of a rain - ever. This is a horrible ump crew.

On the IFR - does the ump have to call it, or are the baserunners responsible for knowing? I thought the ump had to invoke it, and I never saw or heard a thing until long after the play.

Probably done now. Even if the rain stops, since the umps took so long to delay the game and allow the tarp on the field, it's going to take the crew an eternity to get the field ready once the tarp is removed.
