I just got home as well.. I had listened to the game up to the top of the 8th when we were down 5-4.  crazy, I came home pissed off expecting to see that we had lost.  I was about to post a real nasty rant but I guess that is not necessary now.

Very nicely done Nats - after last night's heartache - good job by the Pen ... as always - not too shabby for the rookie - clutch hitting by Lopez and Flores - very nicely done ... way to bounce back fellas - you're AWESOME!

I'm still not thinking good thoughts about the upcoming Mets series.

TY JESUS (Both of them)!

We needed that win desperately, now I want a 4 game sweep of the Mutts! I hate them with a passion.

Nats could have folded up today, following last night's disaster.  But we fought a really good team tooth and nail the whole series, scrapping and clawing every inning.  They know they've been in a fight.

I am! 4 game sweep of the Mutts is my prediction. I'm probably setting myself up for disappointment, but we always play the Mets tough. I think 3 of 4 is a def possibility and a 4 game sweep isn't out of realm of my reality. I hate the Mets from their TV station, to the announcers, to the fans, to the players.

I end up watching only 5 minutes of the game and still have to make sure my heart medications are up-to-date! Now I'll go back and read the thread to see what happened and how Lannan did. But at least we got the curly W!

Apparently, everyone is appalled by this - just heard the radio replay and the guys were going nuts there too ...
