I think he could have stayed in for one more hitter to end the inning but they pulled him

I know there has to be a stat somewhere but the Nats have to be near the top of walks that eventually score.

Elder just 82 pitches through 6.   Making the pitchers life easy just like Darnell preaches.

How many do Nats need to lose in a row for people to get fired?

They're 4th worst in MLB in walks given up.

Holding people accountable for success is not part of the culture of this team

Nats don't fire anyone when contract money jas to be paid. They aren't cheap for others.

House hit another homer tonight. He should be starting at 3b for the Nats. Nobody over the age of 26 serves a purpose on this team. No more retreads. Lowe is the one exception, but he should be traded at the deadline. Vets are good if you’re actually trying to compete, the Nats obviously are not.

Lowe is the one exception, but he should be traded at the deadline.

Unless he gets injured or goes into a miserable slump he likely will be traded then.  And in return probably will get some AAAA player and a 20 year old hard throwing minor leaguer with 9 walks per 9 IP, and who will need TJ in a year.  Rizzo gets man crushes on those guys.

I know Chaparro isn’t a stud, but it is good news that he’s on a rehab assignment. Bell is on borrowed time.

Glad the young guys came through to salvage the inning but Bell really cost us a huge inning.

We won’t win another game with Bell in the line up.
