So this tells you the difference between organizations that want to win and organizations that's don't give a crap at the the level of play similar to the Nats. The Pirates lose 7 straight and fire their manager. We are about to lose 6 straight and the owners wont care as long as they keep making money.

May 11, 2025: The Twilight Zone Day

"His name is Mackenzie Gore. His occupation: baseball player for the Washington Nationals.

He has just given up 2 home runs, as he entered The Twilight Zone..."

Almost 38,000 showed up yesterday to see O.A.R. as part of the summer concert series.  Lerners have figured out paying an artist one time is much cheaper than committing to baseball players over time.

Except the Pirates clearly do not care about winning. If they did, they wouldn't be so cheap in the offseason.

Lol the Pirates just used their manager as a scapegoat, they still have a cheap owner that doesn't care about winning just like we do.

Well the pirates at least got rid of the manager - our owners wouldn't do that

Shelton got fired because Skenes complained about ownership not doing anything in the offseason.
