MASN2 had Blake Lively instead of Ben Lively in the match-up preview. I'm not sure how good her pitching repertoire will be.

In my scorebook, that last out by Ramirez was a lazy fly to young.

Was Parra trying to stop Wood there? Did he see Gutierrez hold CJ?

53 pitches through 4.

Not to jinx him, but Lord has stepped it up the past 2 or 3 outings. Hard to see pulling him out of the rotation. And I have been a bit hard on him because of whip and not going deep

She's a soccer specialist.

Here is the strange game that Bob was talking about. Our own Mickey Vernon was the only Bosox to strikeout. Bunky Stewart struck out Vernon to end the top of the 5th.

So Lord has pitched five innings of one-hit shutout ball. He has to start.

He hasn't thrown more than 80 pitches or 5 innings, so we'll see how this goes, but your lack of faith in him is sinful.

Really need Lord to go 6 tonight. I didn't like the shaking hands coming off but no one up in the pen.

4 through 9 in Nats order all has OPS in the 500s, except Garcia at .627.
