Note "Ducks on the pond" invented by Arch McDonald, the first Nats radio broadcaster. He began in 1934, creating games from the teletype, broadcasting from a drugstore downtown. Nats Park used to have a photo of Arch on the concourse about even with home plate.

Was Robert Fick the player, who in his last at bat, near the end of a game, would turn to the umpire on a bad call and say, "F___ you!" He knew getting ejected would not matter at that point.
