AccuWeather indicates that it will rain until around 7:15. Given the time it will then take to make a decision, remove the tarp and prep the field, I'm not sure they will be able to get a game in before the next band of rain is expected. So, a cancellation seems in the cards.

Interesting to look at Greene and Parker with their different routes to pretty similar ERA & FIP, and record

Cincinnati Enquirer says there's an 8:00 pm start time, but it looks like they will miss that target by some degree.

what is Hickey's problem?  He comes out to the mound all the time, and most of the time it only makes things worse

does he need to do this to show he's the man, not Doolittle?

It's a very consistent ballclub.  Rizzo should be so very proud of the team he's constructed:

2023      Nationals   162   71   91   .438
2024      Nationals   162   71   91   .438
2025      Nationals     32   14   18   .438

Can’t even visualize James Wood ever being a centerfielder the way he went after that ball in the corner last inning made even worse by his lame throw back to the infield. He looks like a lifetime DH to me yet people continue saying he’s got a long stride that makes it appear that he’s going half-speed. Really? don’t lose your bat, James. 🙄

17...

17 Ks.

Every player in the line-up, even the pinch-hitter, with at least one K.

Pathetic
