Pitching not looking so good right now, either.

Should have extended Nathan Lowe before season through end of decade.

Really wish we would get Call back in the lineup.   Wood should be DHing.   Stop messing around with Bell

This home plate ump, Bacon, is pretty bad. And we get CB Bucknor at the plate tomorrow night.

They decided to fight him in arbitration instead.

Agree, Call has to play like Babe Ruth to stay in the lineup and Davey doesn't realize that his lefty/righty nonsense isn't enough to overcome weaker bats.

Don't think we'll see Jackson Holliday doing any shaving cream commercials anytime soon

Nice mix of pitches, throwing four pitches and attacking hitters. Great mound presence, giving John Patterson vibes.

Mitchell Parker was a 5th rounder with ok, but not great, stats in the Minors.  But remarkable how he has had tremendous confidence from his first start last year against the Dodgers.  Would like to see a little more of that from Lord.  Both have potential to be reliable innings eaters, and make up for Rizzo's 100 mph man crush follies with first rounders.
