With Senzatela, it's one of those times FIP matches EPA.

As for Lord, he's had a walk problem. 6.75/9. 5 Ks, 7 BBs. WHIP 1.93.

It'll be interesting to see how long both pitchers can go in the 2nd  game of the DH. Lopez is back, and Lara is available. Rutledge has not pitched since last Monday. Salazar and Henry last pitched Wednesday. With 5 well-rested relievers, there's no need to use Poche or Sims 2 days in a row. Let's see if the Nats can avoid Finny and Ferrer.

At least I remember to post the starting pitchers for this game (unlike the GDT for Game 2 of the series).

Lord needs to show a little more confidence and attack this fairly weak lineup with strikes.

So, do the Rockies have any relievers we could trade Crews for? Seems like he'd enjoy this park.

since 4/1, his k% is 16.3%. The k grief is so misplaced. He's starting to hit more in the air, too

Does anyone other than the Nationals have City Connect jerseys that actually connect to anything interesting or even trivial about the city itself? Most seem to be just nicknames. Are mountains the only interesting thing there is about Denver?

Red Sox ties to the BAA and the Marathon. I think they may work in 617, too

Pretty much just the colors, though, right. Though I suppose the 617 on the sleeve is done like a runner's number. Why no unicorn?

Lord is 49 or 50 pitches thru 3. That's good. That was a good inning.

Recovered with a k at the end. Might push him 1 more. Just 65 pitches.
