Once Rizzo signed them and Mini Me paid them it didn't matter, Sims and Poche were going to make the team.   Rizzo's made it very clear he assesses talent by getting man crushes on physical characteristics or by uncreatively going through the bargain bin for rentals, and then repeating his mistakes.  He is so past his expiration date. 

Remember Madson and Kintzler?

Phillies almost did the same thing today. Blew 9-1 and the. 11-4 lead in the ninth.  Won 11-10.  A win is a win.  I will take the Crews explosion as the best sign possible.

Huh. Phillies were up 11-4 on the Marlins after 8 and won 11-10. Yankees wree up 8-4 over the Rays going into the bottom of the 9th and lost 10-8. Bad day for some bullpens.

This was the first game my son has sat down and basically watched from end to end and now I’m worried about that first core baseball memory
