How could pre-season evaluations of this so-called bullpen have been so wrong?

Once Rizzo signed them and Mini Me paid them it didn't matter, Sims and Poche were going to make the team.   Rizzo's made it very clear he assesses talent by getting man crushes on physical characteristics or by uncreatively going through the bargain bin for rentals, and then repeating his mistakes.  He is so past his expiration date.

i don't think anyone thought it would be a strength, but the total failure of the middle is beyond the odds

You just can’t keep putting Finnegan out there and expect the same good results this season.

Yes. He's not that good, and contact at Coors tends to fall in. BB here no help

Can we leave the entire bullpen in Denver after this series? What an embarrassment.

How could pre-season evaluations of this so-called bullpen have been so wrong?

Did they throw away anyone they should have kept? I can't think of one. However, Rizzo can at least DFA Sims and Poche tonight. Adon has failed as a starter, but could he be worse relieving than Sims and Poche? Same with Lara.
