Abrams would be starting for a lot of teams.
not while he's hurt.
Back to some stats...

Opponent OPS is .790, 2nd worst in MLB, only the Rockies are worse.
Team ERA is 5.05, 2nd worst in MLB, only the Rockies are worse.

Bullpen ERA of 6.86 is the worst by nearly a full run over the Angels, the Rockies are 4.71.   Interesting matchup this weekend between the NL's two worst teams by run differential.
almost unfair to lump the starters in with the bullpen to dis the overall staff stats. The bullpen is pitching turds and spoiling the starters punch bowl.

That post was not commentary, just stats.

I don’t think Abrams is anything special myself.  I’m not expecting much from him.  He could develop but now he’s in sucksville.  Mark Lerner has really crashed this franchise. And Rizzo has performed no miracles and drafted and developed talent terribly.

Wait til June. The starters will be known by all the division teams and start getting hit harder. There isn’t any help on the way and a staff of Gore and a bunch of number 5s won’t hold up for long.

Mitchell Parker now 4th in MLB with 14.2 P/IP, Jake Irvin 17th at 15.1, starters overall 6th of 30 in MLB at 15.86

...but bullpen dead last at 19.01, including Colin Poche at an insane 29.3

Overall, the team is 25th at 17.01
