But then we have the Caps, who lead Boston 2-1. First game for Ryan Leaonard, Caps newly signed "scoring machine" from Boston University.

Keibert makes it a game with a single knocking in Young and CJ.

Ends with no ball fours, no HRs, few K's, little bit of bad luck

Difficult to tell, from the highlights reel, but have our 2025 Nationals faced a particularly hostile atmosphere playing in Canada? (especially as the Nats represent DC - the center of US Govt). It's been reported that Canada v US hockey games have been 'testing'... ;)

(no poiitics, please - I'm just thinking about additional pressure on what is a young team).

Looks like the Jays prefer Bell hitting lefty.

Coles has to go. He’s a hitting coach for a team that hasn’t hit under his coaching.

We need to sit Bell and Young for starters. Call for Young and who to replace Bell? Rosario ? Adams?

well, a Tena / Rosario platoon at DH would be interesting. Historically Bell has been more productive against righties, so Tena probably should not do it against all righties yet, but he should get a few games at 3rd and DH instead of the short-timers. I'd very much like to see Rosario occasionally DH and give Luis G a few ABs vs lefties. Call also should get some ABs as long as he's hitting.

I'm concerned a bit about Wood's Ks. I can live with him getting Ks because his eye I think is terrific, works counts, draws BBs when right, and he does damage, but I get concerned when if it stays 35%+. It's something to watch because he's the best hitter on the team.
