Torpedo Bats

How many Nats are using torpedo bats? If the answer is none, who dropped the bat on this? God knows, we need all the help we can get at the plate.

No creative thinkers on the Nats payroll like the Marlins grounds guy who apparently is the creative genius here?

Last night on TV, Frandsen spotted one of the Jays when he was hitting. There may be some Nats, but they may just be doing it and not announcing it. Just have to look at the bats. I'd imagine the beat writers are looking.

seems if players were going to use them, they would have started in spring training. I'd be surprised if a player will try one out for the first time in a game.

Can only imagine Darnell Coles coaching with these things - "you'll never have to take another pitch!"

Mark Lerner put a call in with the Yankees as soon as it came out that they were using these fancy bats. The Nats are getting a great deal on New York's regular old bats they are no longer using.
