So Knizner is there for a while. Curious if he can opt out.

Rochester opens with its best possible impression of the big league club.  Andrew Alvarez started with 5IP, 2H, 1R (0ER), 2BBs, and 6Ks.

Red Wings go on to lose 6-2 after Konner Pilkington gets lit up in the 6th. Adon was scoreless for 1.2 and Jack Sinclair allowed. a run. Offense only managed 5 hits. Yepez had a double.

I can’t see Pilkington’s name without thinking of Ricky Gervais. And so far I have good reason.

Most of the posts today are going way over my head.

Five run first inning so far.  Hassell led off with a nice single against the lefty.  Nunez now with a two run single. Buffalo pitcher doenst throw hard or accurately.

Lara gives up a two run homer in the first.  5-2 Wings after one.

Rutledge: two innings, a walk, no hits, four strikeouts, and no runs. Hassell two for four.

another game postponed.

I watched last night, as the Red Wings started about 30 minutes ahead of the Nats/Pirates. Wind was blowing so hard that the CF camera could not keep a steady picture of the batters. Small crowd was dressed like they were at a late-season NFL game.

Hyun-il Choi, whom we selected in the AAA portion of the Rule 5 draft from the Dodgers, now sporting a 17.18 ERA / 2.59 WHIP after 3 starts at Rochester.

I don't think we're going to need a FTP for him.
