Good results for the Americans so far. Three women and two men into the quarterfinals. 19 year old Learner Tien had a great tournament but lost in round of 16.

Keys upsets Swiatek. Will now face number one Sabalenka. If she can beat those two back to back it will a monumental accomplishment.

Yea I’m watching a replay now. Quite an accomplishment to beat the world number one and two players back to back. And she beat some other good players on the way. She hits like a man and especially the forehand. And that’s a compliment. I believe she hits them in the 70 MPH range consistently. Apparently she switched racquets and strings recently to get more control. Should have done that before.

Tommy Paul becomes first American male to make the quarterfinals at Roland Garros since 2003.
