This will never not be depressing. How all of this turned out and just losing everyone sucks so much. Its hard to continue being a fan with the Lerners in charge.
I'm 72. I gotta admit that I'd probably be tryin' to screw you guys outta your life savings if I had the chance too...and I plan to live forever...
I agree, this is is ALMOST history repeating itself (Expos in the 90s trading away their star players every year). Being a happy fan is contingent on having a competent owner of the team.
Yes, and are you familiar with the sad history of ownership of MLB in DC? It’s a real downer that the city has suffered through some bad ones, whether it be due to a relative lack of resources or just poor management — or both. Almost everyone thought that the Lerners would do the city proud and be good stewards of the team as well as do what it took to maintain a perennially competitive team. They’ve made some strange decisions with the team over the years, but I really did not see this situation coming. DC baseball fans deserve so much better.
Look at the bright side. Cheap tickets on the secondary market. And no lines in the restrooms.
I'd rather watch on a big screen at home and not have to always be envious of other teams' fans.Every time I go to Nats Park I feel like I'm kissing my sister or I'm visiting a museum up the street.

what an arrogant article and mindset for the NYY. We are so vastly superior. You owe your success to our park and Judge. We have a superior fanbase.
Kind of funny that he won with the nats and not the yankees
The Yankees didn't have Howie Kendrick...
Has anyone seen the picture of Juan in the Mets jersey where it looks like he’s got a beer gut?
Soto says the Mets were not the high bidder.https://sny.tv/articles/juan-soto-teams-offered-more-mets
other than the Nats, who else?
More from the Juan Soto podcast: "The #Nationals made me three offers: first, an offer similar to Ronald Acuña Jr.'s deal; then another offer similar to Fernando Tatis Jr.'s contract; and then came the $440 million offer. If they had signed Turner, Rendon and Harper, I would have accepted an offer even lower than $440 million"
