All US based original six teams miss the playoffs.  Making Canada Great Again.
that's almost impossible in the nhl. I didn't know there were 4 teams that don't make the playoffs

Another weak playoff effort by Hellybuck.  But Winnipeg pulls it out.

When TNT did the first Winnipeg game the announcers were in the Atlanta studio.  Seems ESPN at least has announcers on site.

I would laugh my arse off if they were to hire Tortorella, though I highly doubt he'll be their choice.

All 4 series in the West are tied at 2-2...all 4 in the East sit at 3-1, with Florida being the only lower seed to lead in their series.  Florida / Tampa has been particularly violent...

Av's / Stars will break their tie in the West tonight...

I think Florida was favorite before their series?

Well Dallas has the early jump.  Bet on Florida and Dallas tonight.  I went to be after period two in the late game last night fully confident my bet on the Kings would win.

Oilers win 4 straight after dropping the first two to LA. Oilers vs VGN for the 2nd straight year.

Colorado and Dallas game seven should be a good one.  Dallas is at home but Colorado is the betting favorite.

Great comeback by the Stars.  If they get Heiskanen back they will be a handful.

I have them going to the Final in my bracket...

Amazing that DeBoer has never lost a Game 7...9-0...

Incredible. Winnipeg scores two goals in the final two minutes, including one with 1.6 left, all with their goalie pulled. Heading to OT.

"Utah Mammoth" was just announced. Another name for the Washington Post editors to butcher by pretending it's singular, which sounds ridiculous when juxtaposed with an opponent's name they treat as plural (e.g., they would say, "The Utah Mammoth is seeking its first Stanley Cup, while the Washington Capitals are pursuing their second.").
