I get that we all like Parra from his playing days, but he could be coaching third with EY, Jr still a first. CJ Abrams credited EY for his base stealing progress last year. Moreover, Gutierrez, the current 3B coach, was the "run prevention coordinator" last year when the Nats failed to prevent 845 runs. Could have had EY and Parra as base coaches but EY was not a friend of Davey's and Gutierrez was, so here we are. Playing the org's political game takes precedence over helping the team win baseball games.

Went to Pittsburgh a few years back to watch our Nationals clinch a Playoff spot and I would highly recommend you go there for a game or two if you ever get a chance. Great great place to take in a ball game. I enjoyed the game more from the upper deck than the seats we had the next day in the front row. Really awesome, beautiful 3-D view of the city from the upper deck at that stadium. Put it on your bucket list for sure if you haven’t been.
