I am not a major league baseball manager or a baseball manager at all - but since the game started it was obvious that Irvin is trash today. Davey is a clueless dolt that must be fired if the ownership even has an chance of getting any fans to support this mess

It seems teams still haven’t figured out Jose Tena.

It seems teams have really figured out Jake Irvin.

I would argue the opposite. Leave him in to save the pen. Odds of winning this game are low.
Make him go six innings.

So he’s pretty much the best player on the team already. Or slightly behind James Wood. These two are ridiculous.

see if you can get through 5 or 6 innings. The 3rd was a start.

Oh, this kid Crews might be, what's the word, :worship:

Could be.   There’s so much analytics and advance scouting and this org struggles to adjust other teams’ adjustments.  But Tena’s bat is nonetheless better than expected.

Where he usually is.  OPS almost back under .600.  He’ll play an important role next year ensuring this team wins less than its talent says it should.

Somebody in the coaches coming back thread earlier today mentioned the Nats starters have gone 9 straight games without giving up more than 2 runs. What a jinx. We need to beat his a$$.
