he's been giving off the plate on both sides and below the strike zone to Yamamoto but he's missed a few for Gore at the knees or well inside the top of the zone arm side.

When Vargas swings and misses, the pitcher has some awesome stuff. he has the lowest K% of any hitter in baseball with over 30 PAs. 3% swinging strike rate.
