I'm on the west coast this week so i might actually stay up to watch this. This has got to be among the worst lineups we've ever put on the field.

This is basically the lineup that came up with 3 runs yesterday, with Ruiz in for Adams.

No CJ.

Don’t let Gore watch this.  He nibbles enough already.

Snell doing the Hickey shuffle, 26 pitches in one inning, just 14 strikes.

Somewhere back in the Acta/Riggleman years there might have been worse.

Williams also honoring his pitching coach with 25 pitches in the 1st.

I’m a bit surprised that Pat the Bat is the hitting coach for SF.  Not aware that he has any coaching experience?  Also the way he batted during his career he seems not cut out for that job.

He's part of the plan to get us a prospect at the trade deadline, and Rizzo says we have 8-10 years of championship baseball coming up.  The other part is to sign rule 5's like Nasim Nunez and Thaddeus Ward.   Rizzo is a genius.

We’ve swung at at least two ball fours.

Someone needs to tell Snell he's pitching against a team that will swing at 95% of the garbage you throw at them.  He's reaching elite levels of junk to walk guys like Ruiz and Vargas.

Given that choice, I'd rather just see the BP pitcher just throw it from behind an L screen.

Eff yeah!

Can we make a deal with Boras to pay Snell to pitch against us every five games?

It’s his first game against live competition this year but you can see what teams didn’t want to give him a long term deal.  I know some folks here told me Snell did not wear down bullpens but he is going to do that tonight.

He's also showing the foolishness of letting a Boras client miss most of ST.  Boras is going to have his staff come up with excuses for this as he prepares for next year's late March signings.
