It's kind of the Schlemiel / Schlemazl difference. The Astros have a #2 in their jersey, we have #2 all over our jerseys.

I’m in the DMV for a few days.  Costco has some nice authentic Nats caps for $13.99. Picked up a blue one with the Curly W. Underside of the bill is red.  They had the red DC logo ones also.

It would be funny if they end up never actually wearing them in a game. If I remember correctly there was an official alternate ballcap or two in years past that they never ended up wearing. The one with the blocky W with the Senators-style pitcher in front of it comes to mind. I'm pretty sure those were never worn in a game.
