It would be easier on my knees and body in general than tennis but I refuse to “pick” up pickle ball.  Would mean one foot in the grave.  I do belong to AARP so bully on that. On a more serious note I was watching a pickleball class while one of the grandkids was learning tennis. Quite a few younger folks in the class.

My understanding is the ball doesn’t bounce as high as a tennis ball. Head dives are quite frequent.

I think the sound bothers me most. Every time I pull up to play tennis I can hear them from the pickleball courts. It’s like a whiffle ball.

They also have paddle tennis which seems a cross between tennis and racquetball.
