It's a beautiful day at the park today. just relaxing with a ballpark sausage and watching the Nats smoke another opponent. Rode my bike to the park from a park in Bladensburg MD on the Anacostia bike trail. Very enjoyable day all around.

Ward is still a wild ride, but the runs don't change things. At least he wasn't smacked around after the E-4.

Dan mentions "Ducks on the pond"!! Invented by Washington very first radio broadcaster, Arch McDonald. Nats Park used to have a photo of Arch, a photo posted on a pillar on the concourse behind home plate. It shows McDonald broadcasting from his "studio" at a drugstore downtown.

Arch did a season with the Yankees, and there he named a centerfielder "The Yankee Clipper".
