Gonna have to cut bell and trade Lowe to get Yoyo at 1st and call up hassell and Lile soon. OF/DH rotation of Wood, Crews, Lile, Hassell, and Young

Morales is in Double A and Hassell has .732 OPS. Not sure we have to rush to do anything. But a Hassell/Young platoon could be nice.

I'll believe it when I see the transaction posted. Let's see how Crews's MRI goes. Young was going to play yesterday so if he's ready and Crews's back checks out OK, I don't see this move happening.

It's fine. He may still yet have some starter potential, but if not, he is a very useful 4th OF.

He was hot in AAA immediately before the promotion, I hope he can recapture some of that momentum this summer.

Yep.  He's young, he's learning, but he was an offensive black hole at a time we can't afford it.

Bring him back. He's a better fielder than Lile. Young is better in CF, but notbody is as good a Young.

I wonder if he got sent down just to get a reset and not lose his confidence. I'm high on Bobby Barrels and think he can be an everyday OF with enough bat and plenty of defense. I think Lile is more a 4th OF guy.

I think it's more because he had 1 walk in like 80 PAs. He's always had decent walk numbers, so he was clearly pressing.

Basically, they didnt want him to turn in to Ruiz

Sending him down was just dumb.

Or it rebuilds his eye and his confidence and he comes back up more ready.

got him out of the spot light, stop pressing, and reduces the influence of Coles on him.

I think Mantle was sent down, too. Jackson Holliday.

So was Mark Strittmatter.

It was the right move to send him down and glad he’s raking.

If you zoom out Hassell’s track record has been worrisome outside of that hot streak leading to his promotion. Maybe he’s really putting it together.
