They keep showing stats about what a great hitter Cruz used to be.

It's time to switch Bell and Cruz in the order.

This is the crappy team I expected for the season. I knew this early little battle was not representative of the actual dumpster fire this team is

Didn’t we put Henry Rodriguez on the DL once for not being able to control his pitches?

I think so. Or at least it sounds right. Put Corbin on the DL just until he can touch the corners. Call it depression. Certainly can't hurt his trade value.

2 errors in one at-bat.  I don't care if they didn't charge one.  Awful.

To be fair, that was a heck of a play by Robles to erase that.

H-Rod was a danger to himself and others.

Did broadcast cover war of words in middle of 9th? Looks like a few Nats fielders were screaming at Giants dugout and Nats coaches had to calm them down.

I saw it afterward. Broadcasters did not explain why the Nats infielders were angry. Did a Giant try to steal second? Was that in violation of an unwritten rule against adding on to a lopsided win? Frandsen was asking where he could read the unwritten rules, and why 7 - 1 was lopsided. Mentioned a guy chewed out by his manager for bunting in the 6th inning of a game his team was winning about 15 - 0..."that was lopsided", essentially.

Alex Pavlovic:

Quote
The Nationals were not thrilled that Thairo Estrada tried to steal second with a six-run lead. A few of them yelled at the Giants dugout. Their anger did not stop them from throwing him out at the plate.

Good thin April losses don’t matter

FP would have sided with the Nats players and said the Giants were wrong. If the Nats stole with a big lead he would say it’s ok.

And Daniel Cabrera, I believe.
