Great game - credit to the Bills. However, we remember that the BIlls won the regular season game, last time - but we know how things worked out in the end...(and, hopefully, we'll have the first team back, in the secondary...)

Typical script for an Eagles game this year. Build a big lead in few second quarter. And then the offense stops scoring and the lead starts to slip. I think there second quarter point differential is now +100.

Amazon reports around 11 million people are watching Thursday football on Prime. That's an incredible number given ESPN is averaging around 14 million for MNF.

if you take away gambling and fantasy football the NFL actually sucks as a product. CFB light years ahead of it in terms of interesting things.

Lol. College football is a terrible product in comparison to the NFL. Might as well watch XFL

I mostly watch college football because I like that there is a greater variety of offensive schemes. Occasionally I watch the NFL because I am bored on Sunday and it's something to do. The players in the NFL are obviously way more talented and sometimes this can be good (there was an amazing catch on MNF and it was treated as routine) and sometimes this can be bad (you can pretty much assume an NFL team will score if they come within 40ish yards of the end zone because NFL kickers can all kick 50-59 yard kicks routinely now).

NFL gets significantly higher ratings though, so mine is a minority view. I agree the big knock on college football is that 99% of games aren't actually competitive whereas the NFL takes great pains to ensure parity.

Competition aside, I like several of the college rules better than the pros rules. I am a fan of having wider hash marks. I like wide sides and short sides of the field so there's more challenges and opportunities for the offense to attack and the defense to cover. You can't run the same play to the right or the left regardless of the hash mark. The wide side also forces more unbalance into schemes. In terms of kicking, making for a harder angle closer in introduces less certainty on short field goals. OTOH, I prefer PIs to be spot fouls rather than 15 yards.
