FP is way off. There's no way Soto gets even near to doing 100 miles on the base paths in a season.

yes. Every time you score a run, that's only 360' directly. Figure less than 400' when you count for the curve rounding the bases.  Score 100 runs? That's 40 000 feet, or less than 10 miles.

He's about 4% of the way there. How many games are left.

I would go with total bases and even if you count running on fouled balls and running out to the field I don't think he gets near 20 miles

36 bases a game if he plays every game.

If the uniforms had been reversed he would've talked about how it wasn't intentional and how the Nats pitcher was feeling sick about it :smh:

Nolin is a LHP and Freeman a lefty hitter. I'm pretty sure FP specifically referred to the RHP throwing across his body and across the plate and hitting a lefty hitter near the back of his head. Still not a particularly insightful comment, but not the twatwafflery of which you accuse him.

Yes he did...while relying on his "These are the Major Leagues" "This is the Highest Level" bullcrap...

The guy pulled a pitch and gets crucified...Nolin went after a guy and got a pass because, you know, Unwritten Rules...

That makes him a Twatwaffle...

Spidey nailed it...

7 runs on 4 hits.  Why would the Pirates even bother swinging at all?
